Wedding FAQ’s

  • Yes! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I offer both makeup and hair styling services.

  • Yes. There is a $100 non-refundable/non-transferable booking fee required to reserve your wedding date. Your date has not been reserved until this fee has been paid.

  • Gratuity is not included in your total but always greatly appreciated!

  • No. One of my main goals is to ensure your wedding morning flows as smoothly and stress-free as possible. To ensure this I require one payment be made at least 7 days prior to the wedding day. I am always extremely grateful for any additional tips given on the wedding day from bridal party members but as far as payment balance it needs to be one singular payment.

  • The final payment is due 7 days prior via cash, check, Venmo, credit or debit (2.9-3.4% fee will apply.)

You are more than welcome to pay earlier than the scheduled date as well.

  • I typically schedule 1-1.5 hours for bridal services and 45 minutes-1 hour for bridal party members.

  • I completely understand how difficult it can be to round up a final count from your bridal party but in order for me to schedule accordingly the final count of services must be agreed upon before the contract is signed.

  • While I always try my best to accommodate, once the contract is signed I can not guarantee the availability/ability to add on services.

  • The need for an assistant is dependent on the number of services. I can not guarantee the availability of additional artists but I will always communicate with you the number of services I am able to accommodate with or without an assistant considering the timeline.

  • The travel fee is $1/minute round trip. Once I’m given an exact address I can provide you with a more accurate quote.

  • If your venue allows you access at an appropriate time for our hair & makeup schedule, absolutely! Unfortunately, often times venues do not give access until much later than we need to begin hair & makeup. If this is the case for you I recommend an Airbnb or large hotel room/suite!

Trial FAQ’s

  • Yes but I can not reserve any date without a signed contract and $100 booking fee.

I book on a first come, first serve basis, meaning that someone could potentially book your wedding date before you even have the chance to do your trial.

  • Trials are not required but they’re definitely encouraged! This gives us the time to meet, discuss styles, and make sure that we nail your wedding day look!

  • I normally schedule 1.5 hours per service for trials. So for hair & makeup trials I schedule 3 hours. I know this seems like a lot of time (it doesn’t always take this long,) but this is our time to really get to know each other, discuss your vision and what your expectations are!

  • I prefer to do trials anywhere from 2-12 weeks before the wedding. In my experience the closer to your wedding the more likely that your skin texture/tone, hair length/color, and vision for your wedding day look is as close as it will be on your big day.

I also understand that waiting until close to the wedding day can be nerve-racking for some so if you would like to schedule a trial sooner that is completely fine as well.

  • I reserve Friday-Sunday for weddings and events so I am available for trials Monday-Thursday.

  • For makeup trials come with a clean, bare face that is moisturized well.

For hair trials come with clean, blow dried hair (1 day old at most.) Please bring any hair extensions, hair accessories or veils that you are considering for your wedding day.

  • For makeup trials- a facial with dermaplaning a few days prior will make a world of difference in your makeup application. If not, even a good exfoliation before would be beneficial.

For hair trials- having your color as close to your desired wedding day hair color and any hair extensions installed prior (or bring any clip-in’s you plan on using.)

If you plan on getting a spray tan this is a great time to do a spray tan trial as well (skip the spray tan on the face.)

It’s always a great idea to wear white to your trial!

  • Absolutely! It is not uncommon for mother’s of the bride/groom or bridesmaid to be weary of getting their hair and/or makeup done. I’m happy to ease any nerves and book trials for any bridal party members!
